| The OT-DCM-G
Series Dispersion Compensation Module removes distortion from optical signals
in analog and digital systems that use standard SMF-28 fiber over long fiber runs. The
Dispersion Compensation Module cancels out the fibers positive dispersion, increasing transmission distance and enhancing the
signal fidelity. The unit may be ordered for use with FC/APC or SC/APC
connectors. Models are available in in 10km increments from 10km to 120km compensation lengths.

The OTEA-CL Series 1RU and 2RU high power 1550nm EDFA is a rack mount EDFA package producing up to four (4) to 24 optical outputs at +18dBm to +22dBm each. The 1RU package can be used for up to eight (8) outputs and a total power of 800mW (+29dBm). The 2RU package can provide up to 24 outputs and a total power of 3,200mW (+35dBm). It is engineered to meet the requirements of a high-density solution for the very large scale distribution of broadband CATV video (and/or wideband multi-channel L-Band video) and data signals to traditional HFC nodes or CATV/L-Band video overlay receivers in a FTTH/ FTTP or PON system. The LaserLite Model OTEA-CL-Series erbium doped fiber amplifier is the perfect companion to Olsons LaserPlus, LaserLite and SatellitePlus families of 1550nm EM and DM transmitters and the MetroNode, PremiseNode and SatellitePlus families of receiver/nodes. The OTEA-CM Series 2RU high power 1550nm EDFA is a rack mount EDFA package producing up to 20 optical outputs at +18dBm to +21dBm, each optimized to work with direct modulation 1550nm transmitters. The EDFA design provides eight (8) outputs to 20 outputs in a 2RU package over a wide temperature range with low power consumption. The total optical output equals 2,500mW/+34dBm. It is engineered to meet the requirements of a high-density solution for the very large scale distribution of broadband CATV video (and/or wideband multi-channel L-Band video. The LP-OA LaserPlus EDFA module is a rack mount EDFA package that provides an optical output ranging from at +13dBm to +22dBm at the rated optical input power of +3dBm over a wavelength range from 1540nm to 1560nm.The EDFA module optically amplifies CATV or L-Band signals and is ideal for hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) applications. The module mounts in a LaserPlus rack chassis for use with LaserPlus transmitters and receivers. The front panel features LED indicators for optical input power, optical output power, laser temperature, pump enable and pump status that allow the health of the unity to assessed at a glance. The unit also provides extensive SNMP capability that allows a number of system parameters to be determined. |
